How to do Nadi Shodhan Pranayama

1. Sit in Vajarasana, keep your spine erect and shoulders relaxed.

2. Place your left hand on your knee in Chin mudra,- index finger and thumb touching with other three fingers stretched out. 













3. Place the index and middle finger of your right hand in between your eyebrows. Now place your thumb on the side of your right nostril, while placing your ring and little finger on the side of your left nostril.

4. Breathe in through your right nostril while closing the left with your ring and little finger.

5. Exhale through your left nostril while closing the right nostril with your thumb.

This is one round. For optimal benefits practice at least 5 rounds. 

Precaution:

Take slow breaths, do not take forceful breaths.

Place the fingers on the nose lightly, do not apply a lot of pressure

Do not breathe through your mouth.
